Our February 2023 Guild meeting was another great show and tell.
Phyllis shared some knitting she did with a beautiful skein of wheel spun 2 ply Merino/Silk fiber.
Mary brought in her Gilmore Mini Wave loom warped and ready to travel.
Dawn shared an Ash Basket she made in a workshop.
She also did some natural dyeing with an online workshop with beautiful results.
John’s contribution to the Towel Round Robin in the fiber studio. More samples to show at our next guild meeting.
Clare knit the sweater she is wearing in this photo. To her surprise her mother knit a similar sweater for Clare’s daughter with the same yarn.
Clare always participated in the woven towel round Robin. My next Blog will have all of their samples.
Nate showed a panoramic picture he took of the knitting circle exhibit from the “Emberlight Festival” in Ironwood 2022.
He wove a rug with the Pendleton cut offs he purchased in Portland.
Our presentation was an introduction to Rep Weave prepared by John.
