Registration books for Northern Wefts 2011 are in the mail

It has been quite an experience publishing a Registration book for the Midwest Weavers Conference 2011. We picked up the Northern Wefts books Wednesday January 12, from Hancock Michigan.

Thursday a great group of volunteers, Jean Lind and myself labeled and Stamped the books to get them in the mail as soon as possible so that you would have time to look at them before registration opens on January 27th at 10 am CST. Mailed in registrations which are in the book and on line at midwestweavers.org in a PDF form, will be accepted in the order they are received by Amy Norris our Registration expert. She will be handling the online and mail in registration for us. Thank you Amy for all your experience and help with this enormous feat.

Our mailing Wine and Cheese party - more of a hot dog and salad lunch with a toast of Wine and a little cheese took place Thursday morning. As we met at 10:30 am and were done with 401 labeled and stamped books for our current members by 12:30. In attendance were five of our Buellwood Weavers Guild members, Lorraine Marley, Jessica Speer, Leslie Toombs, Jean Lind and Mary Brownell and a wonderful neighbor, Roberta Chabot, who is also a spinner.

We had a great time and the books were at the Ontonagon post office at 3:00 pm and shipped out to you at 4:30 pm on Thursday January 13, 2011. Your books should be arriving Friday or Saturday this week.

Pick out your classes and be ready to sign up for all the great activities and classes on January 27th at 10 am CST.

Hope to see you in Hancock MI June 23-25 at Finlandia University for the Midwest Weavers biennial Conference.
