In January our Guild meet outside as Finlandia was now having Virtual classes. A few of us gathered outside the fiber studio to see how the Finnish wash their rag rugs. Phyliss showed us how to wash our rag rugs with snow and then remove the snow with a broom folding until all snow is removed.
A few of our adventurous members attended the outside meeting in the cold.
We had a quick show and tell thanks to Phyliss and Melissa
Melissa knit a beautiful hat with some complicated stiches you have to look close to see the detail.
Melissa also salvaged a warp that she did not like the colors by dyeing the warp and then weaving a number of placemats with this warp.
I found this in my de clutter attempt.
